APT Technical Committee on Materials- Stained Glass Discussion

This talk will present on the changes in material availability that has occurred over the past 50 years of the stained glass business. Examination has become necessary for what is available to the trade as original materials are scarce due to supply shortage and environmental restrictions. The discussion will present on new materials that show promise but must be used with caution. If original materials for stained glass are not going to be available in the future, what materials should we use to best preserve historic windows?
